Enjoy direct access from the site to a large network of circular walking and cycling routes. Wind through rural hamlets and woodland, past historic buildings, pubs and cafes! Link to a National Trail or other Long Distance paths. National Cycle Route 13 is at the entrance, linking to Route 1 with further mapped and interesting routes provided for you
Pubs and eating out
Multi award-winning Brisley Bell pub & its fabulous garden awaits you a short stroll away. A choice of popular, excellent village pubs, quaint tea rooms, cafes & artisan food producers, Thai food and takeaways nearby. Nature & wildlife
Depending on the season you’ll see sheep or cattle grazing and be entertained by song and farmland birds, including owls & birds of prey. Venture to the wood to catch a glimpse of deer in the countryside beyond or maybe a badger as darkness falls. You may be lucky enough to catch a picturesque sunset in our big panoramic sky just as a bat sets off for the evening catching some food.
